Hey everyone and welcome to another tag! This one was created by Sian at The Make Up Honey and it's all about lips and lip products, a personal favourite topic of mine. If you're reading this, consider yourself tagged! So let's get started..

1. What was the first lipstick you ever owned?

Ooo, now that's a question! I'm sure I got many given to me in beauty sets for Christmas but the first I remember specifically buying was the L'oreal Endless Kissable Lipstick. It was a brownish nude shade (looking back, not very flattering for me but I'm sure I liked it at the time) and I bought it at the airport just before flying home from Berlin when I was around 15 years old. 

2. Which lip product has been the biggest disappointment?

Another tough one - I would have to say the Make Up Revolution Salvation Lip Velvet. When I first tried these I loved them - the colours were so vibrant and they looked amazing. However, after wearing these for a few hours they start to turn grainy and develop a really unpleasant texture on my lips. There are definitely better liquid lipsticks around!

3. Which lipstick is your holy grail product?

I love the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipsticks - not as long lasting as others but so creamy and comfortable and the shade Don't Pink Of It is just the perfect light rose. These are just so flattering, there's a reason I have so many shades!

5. If you could only ever have 3 lip products for the rest of your life, which 3 would they be and why?

I would choose the MUA Universal Lip Liner (I know, I'm so clever), the aforementioned Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Don't Pink Of It and for a strong colour I would choose Sleek's True Colour Lipstick in Mystic (a vibrant pinkish purple with amazing staying power).

6. Matte or glossy?

Matte, matte, matte. I have a few satin finish lipsticks which I like (mainly Make Up Revolution ones) but I almost always go for matte. GOSH's matte lipsticks are some of my favourites for everyday for a non-drying matte formula.

7. Which is the most expensive lipstick you own?

I don't really own any expensive lipsticks (but there are MANY on my Christmas list, namely MAC and Charlotte Tilbury). I guess Stila's Stay All Day liquid lipsticks are a higher price point - I have the shade Aria (a dark, vampy berry) and have another four shades on order!

8. What is the cheapest lippie in your collection?

The Make Up Revolution Amazing lipsticks are just £1 and I actually have a couple which I love - the shades Nude and Crime are really creamy, comfortable and surprisingly long wearing.

9. What is your favourite non lipstick lip product?

I have a deep love for my Laura Mercier Lip Liner in Potpourri and Rimmel's Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob is a classic.

10. What non traditional lip colour would you love to see come into fashion?

I love bright purples and I think they can be really flattering. Stila's Como is one shade I have on order and I can already see it becoming a great bright lip for spring/summer.
