My Monthly Favourites! - November 2015
Monday, November 30, 2015Welcome back! Now, before you start tearing in to your advent calendars, there are some very important November favourites we need to talk about (maybe not VERY important, but come on, humour me).
Benefit They're Real! Tinted Lash Primer
I picked this up as a sample with Elle magazine and it's not yet available for purchase - how exclusive! It's a counterpart primer to the very popular They're Real! mascara (I actually prefer Roller Lash, controversial). I've been very impressed so far - it definitely gives my lashes more length when used as a primer and it actually looks really pretty on it's own for a really soft natural eye look (it's mink-brown so definitely wearable). I probably need to use it more to decide whether or not I will purchase this when it is available but so far, it is definitely making a difference for my lashes!
Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Enchanted Forest Eye Shadow Palette, RRP £7.99
Now, I am well aware that I have a small eye shadow palette addiction but this one has genuinely earned its place in my favourites this month. This is, by far, the most pigmented Sleek palette I have ever tried. The shades are so unusual and they are absolutely gorgeous. I can get a complete look from this palette but as a lot of the colours are a little on the colourful side, I usually do pull in a softer transition colour from another palette. I did swatch a few of my favourite shades for you but I do think I'm going to end up doing a full swatch and review - so stay tuned!
Sleek MakeUp Blush in Rose Gold, RRP £4.49
Another Sleek product (they've had a good month, they get a gold star) - this is one of their single pan blushes in the shade Rose Gold. It's an absolutely beautiful, iridescent blush. I've seen this one compared a lot to the NARS Blush in Orgasm - a highlighting, coral/pink shimmery blush. Whilst it is shimmery it's definitely not too much or too glittery, I think you could absolutely wear this as an everyday blush. It also reminds me of Milani's Luminoso which is big news across the pond, so I'm very happy to have found such an affordable UK option.
Eylure Lengthening 116 Lashes, RRP £5.35
I am a self-professed false lashes novice and I have definitely not mastered putting them on perfectly/on the first try. However, I have really enjoyed using these. I've tried a few different styles from Eylure and these are definitely my favourite - very flared on the outer lashes and they give a really wispy, fluttery look (is fluttery a word? I feel like it is). They basically make me feel like batting my lashes at everyone I meet, which does make me look kind of crazy but I'm okay with it.
So, that's it for my favourites this month. If you would like to see a full review of any of these products then please let me know in the comments. I'd also love to know what your favourites have been this month!
