My Christmas Gift Guide 2015

Saturday, November 28, 2015

Welcome back! Yes, I know it's still November, but this weekend my plan is to start Christmas shopping and I thought I would share with you a few gifts I would love to give (or receive) this festive season.

Custom Prints
Unfortunately I was never going to be able to do a Christmas gift guide without mentioning Not On The High Street - I can't help it, I'm a convert and proud of it! I personally think you could buy pretty much anything from NOTHS and it would make a great present but I would particularly like to mention their prints. I think a unique piece of artwork is a fabulous gift - there is a wide range of options from maps to family trees but I particularly love the Favourite Song Soundwaves Print. You could have any memorable song transformed in to a striking print in a classic black frame. Your wedding song, an inside joke or a festival highlight - a very personal and thoughtful gift for any music lover.

Quirky Jewellery
Looking for something unusual yet elegant? You need to visit Aubergine Fox! My taste definitely leans toward the delicate (bar the odd statement necklace) and this company do the cutest rings I have ever seen. Dainty cat ears, antlers, honeycombs even - and all in your choice of silver, gold or rose gold. Really affordable and undeniably sweet, these make the perfect present for any fashion-forward friends.

Beauty Gift Sets
I could probably write a small novel's worth of ideas for beauty related gifts but I'll try and reign myself in! The Zoeva Rose Gold Brush Set is a very stylish 8 piece brush set - it's limited edition and oh-so-festive. A more affordable option can be found in the Morphe 700 8 Piece Brush Set at just £11.95 for a Christmas-y red and silver brush set and case - great value and a lovely stocking filler for anyone just getting in to make up.

Stila also have some stunning palettes and sets including their renowned liquid lipsticks and lip glazes (I couldn't wait and ended up ordering some of these for myself). MUA also have a range of gift sets available - my pick would be the Sparkle This Christmas set which includes one of my forever favourite highlighters and their very popular Undressed eye shadow palette - just £15 for the full set.

And finally, for anyone who knows that Christmas is the perfect day to take your time over a manicure, the Essie All I Want For Christmas Gift Box includes 5 full sized polishes from classic red to pale grey and is just £24.99 from Boots.

Gorgeous Diaries
Any other stationary addicts out there? I know it's not just me. A diary or notebook can make a beautiful - and useful - gift for the list makers in your life. It's also the perfect present for bloggers, I don't know about you but I get through notebooks at the same rate as bread and milk.

Paperchase is my first port of call for beautiful and affordable stationary and they have the most beautiful 2016 diaries on their shelves right now. I am in love this Turquoise Leather Diary - wonderfully different and great quality for £18 - they also have pink, pure gold and a range of other patterns in this leather bound style.

This Polka Dot Envelope Diary is super cute in pink and gold and it's magnetic hardcase means its perfect for throwing in your handbag when you're on the go. At only £10 it's great value and a great start to an organised 2016 (we can hope!).

Chocolate Paradise
Finally, it's just not Christmas without chocolate in my eyes. Chocolate for breakfast (and every other meal and snack) is my idea of heaven and my absolute favourite place to buy from is Hotel Chocolat.

There's something for every budget in their Christmas range. You can pick up one of their selectors for just £3.75 - I love the Comet Does Caramel Slab or, for something a little more grown up, the Caramelised Orange Chocolates sound delicious. These make great stocking fillers and of course, you have to pick one up for yourself as a Christmas shopping reward.

If you just can't decide (or if you're as greedy as I am), then for £35 The Christmas Collection is a gift box full to the brim of their festive bestsellers and a few year round favourites. Just make sure you're buying this for someone who will share it with you, I'm not sure I could resist the idea of Eton Mess truffles.

So, there we have it. I hope you got a little gift inspiration somewhere along the way. Let me know in the comments what your favourite gift ideas are or which of my picks you'll be hoping for in your stocking!
